Falling in love with digital editing appears to give resource to go beyond designing and creating something new, mostly unexpected for Zürich-based artist Beate Tubach. Although primarily a painter, sometimes Tubach’s process sees her overlaying paint with photographic images to create symphonic collages of colour and pattern. Both forms of creation – painting and digital photo editing - inform and influence each other within her practice, revealing new depths to the artist’s work.
